Responsibilities:
Strategic Communications
Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to enhance public awareness and engagement with traffic safety initiatives.
Provide strategic direction for public outreach, messaging frameworks, and media engagement.
Identify opportunities for innovation in communication and engagement tactics, leveraging technology and data-driven insights.
Coordinate messaging and branding efforts to ensure consistency across all external communication channels.
Strengthen partnerships with stakeholders, including public agencies, advocacy organizations, and industry partners, to amplify safety messaging.
Monitor and evaluate communication strategies, making data-driven adjustments to enhance effectiveness.
Marketing & Public Engagement
Oversee the execution of traffic safety campaigns, ensuring alignment with public engagement and behavioral change goals.
Manage public relations efforts, including media relations, press outreach, and crisis communication strategies.
Direct content development for multiple communication channels, including digital, social media, traditional media, and public relations.
Develop messaging strategies tailored to diverse audiences, including the general public, industry leaders, and policymakers.
Provide guidance on external communications, including media responses, stakeholder engagement, and brand positioning.
Performance Measurement
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of communication strategies and campaigns.
Utilize data analytics, public sentiment tracking, and engagement metrics to refine outreach approaches.
Collaborate with research teams to integrate data insights into communication efforts.
Ensure continuous improvement of messaging and outreach strategies based on feedback and performance metrics.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
A minimum of 8-10 years of Communications experience in the Architectural/Engineering (AEC) industry is preferred.
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with media, stakeholders, and agency partners.
Proficiency in content development, digital marketing tools, and social media management platforms.
