Production Scheduler (Finance)
The Production Scheduler schedules daily production orders for all lines.
Job Responsibilities
• Work closely with management and the sales department to coordinate special requests, updates and order changes.
• Perform daily system functions as assigned or requested.
• Coordinate order changes between plants.
• Work closely with production supervisors, communicating updates and facilitating a smooth product flow.
• Plan schedules efficiently, minimizing changeovers.
• All GLC employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies & procedures.
• All GLC employees are expected to produce our products in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures out lined in our Safe Quality Food Program.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
The pay for this position is $23.00-24.10. All offers will be based on a candidate's skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees and certifications, and internal equity. This range is specific to New York and may not be applicable to other locations.
Required Education and Experience
• High School diploma or GED.
• General understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
• Ability to make decisions based on standard practices.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Basic computer skills.
Preferred Education and Experience
• SAP experience.
• MES experience.
Working Conditions
• Work is performed in an office setting.
• Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35°F to 100°F; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.
