Plumbing Department Lead (Construction)

Responsibilities:

Perform plumbing system design calculations
Prepare contract drawings and specifications detailing the designed systems
Select equipment for use in building systems
Knowledge of plumbing code(s) and applicable NFPA codes within the industry
Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines/companies
Attend meetings and communicate with clients to establish their needs and discuss design issues
Incorporate sustainable design methods in buildings
Report writing/specification preparation

Qualifications:

Associates Degree in engineering/science or a related discipline
10+ years' experience
AutoCAD and Revit MEP proficiency required
Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD), and LEED AP preferred
Proven ability to design and draft, and general computer knowledge is a must
