Electrical Assitant Project Manager (Engineering)

Experience/Qualifications/Expectations:
Support PM in project life cycle: planning, scheduling, budgeting, implementation, and closeout. Analyze blueprints and electrical drawings for estimates. Direct team members in contract administration. Familiarity with blueprint reading; design-build experience a plus. Use Accubid software for estimating, pricing changes, and negotiation. Guide on-site personnel to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. Provide written notice of issues/delays. Manage material takeoff, ordering, and tracking. Develop and maintain project budgets. Regular site visits for quality monitoring and issue resolution. Educate project teams on policy changes. Manage Rogers workers, subcontractors, and vendors. Develop project schedules and manage logistics. Implement and manage change orders. Handle project accounting, budgeting, and invoicing. Assist with payroll accuracy. Interview, hire, train, and manage team members. Maintain client relationships and represent the company in meetings. Proactively address potential issues. Manage financial aspects of contracts. Perform other duties as assigned.
What Were Looking For:
Experience in Electrical Construction Project Management. Knowledge of National Electrical Code and local building codes. Bachelors Degree or 2-3 years of relevant experience. Quality-oriented, self-motivated, and safety-focused. Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications. Effective management techniques to maximize performance. Understanding of industry practices and standards. Professional communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions. Proficiency in data analysis and document creation. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and database management. Ability to use smart devices for timekeeping and labor tracking. Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
