Banquet Server/Set-up Summer 2025 (Project Management)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Including the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Convey the highest level of customer service, while conducting the service of foodAssist with the set-up of the banquet: i.e. tables, linens, chairs, etc for the full service of banquet events.Maintain positive and professional attitude.Clean and buss tables as guest complete the meal serviceAssist in the cleanup of tables, chairs ect. once the banquet is completedMaintain back of the house, front of the house and side work duties for overall productivity of banquet eventsThis is not an exhaustive list of duties and others may be added as needed. Complete all duties and assigned by the events coordinator.
RESPONSIBILITY TO SAFETY:
Protect the safety of self-workers, and Grand Targhee Resort guests. Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay. Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor. Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures. Operate equipment safely so that it will not lead to injury to yourself or others. Drive in accordance with the law and Grand Targhee Resort policies.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities with staff.
WORK SCHEDULE & COMMITMENT
Due to the nature of the recreation industry, we are in operation seven days a week. This includes weekends and holidays and there is no guarantee of hours. Flexible working hours may be required based on the business levels.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school Diploma or GED. Prior serving/ customer service experience preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current child/infant CPR and First Aid cards or participation in training provided by the Resort or be enrolled in a training program off property with Director approval.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
Employees must be able to assist campers in an emergency (fire, injury, etc.); and possess the strength and endurance required to maintain constant supervision of campers.
