Sanitation Worker / Dishwasher (Food Services)

Position Summary:
Peachtree Catering & Events is looking for a dedicated Sanitation Worker & Dishwasher to join our team in Radnor, Pennsylvania. As a premier catering and event production firm, we serve a diverse clientele across four exclusive venues and many off-premise locations. This role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. We have multiple roles to fill, especially for the event's season (April - December), for both weekday and weekend work. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and works with professionalism, awareness, and initiative.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including dishwashers, three-bay sinks, laundry machines, ovens, fryers, grills, and other kitchen tools.Wash and sanitize kitchen surfaces, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment to maintain food safety standards.Receive deliveries, properly store perishables, and rotate stock to ensure freshness.Sort, soak, spray, and wash silverware, smallware, china, glassware, and cookware.Ensure all clean wares are properly stored in designated areas.Manage trash disposal, maintain the dumpster area, and break down recyclables, including cardboard.Sweep and mop floors to keep kitchen and storage areas clean and safe.Maintain a positive and team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive tasks.Capable of standing for extended periods.Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.Ability to adhere to steps of service and expectations of role.Punctuality and dedication to the overall success of the team.
