Lead and implement an Executive Protection program for a fortune 200 company with some of the most iconic brands! If so, we want to speak with you! We are currently recruiting for a Manager, Protective Services to join our team in Richmond, VA. The Executive Protection program is designed to safeguard Altria's top-level executives, extending up to the Chief Executive Officer and their eligible family members. The responsibilities of this role encompass managing and executing a comprehensive program that includes preplanning, assessing potential threats, and providing physical protection services. What you'll be doing:
Lead all aspects of the protective mission for the CEO, and other Altria senior management as required, including physical protection, intelligence, medical emergency, emergency relocation, operational security, and hazard mitigation.
Develop, implement, and manage security plans for high level special events including Board of Directors events and Annual Shareholder Meetings.
Assess, gather, and validate information from a variety of sources to determine appropriate corrective actions to identified vulnerabilities.
Assess threats and identify potential vulnerabilities.
Develop, maintain, and leverage key law enforcement liaison and industry related contacts to facilitate information sharing with law enforcement agencies to enhance executive security.
Conduct comprehensive physical security surveys and detail those results in a comprehensive report.
What we want you to have:
Bachelor's Degree in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, or a related field
7+ years in law enforcement, military, or corporate security roles
7+ years of demonstrated experience leading or conducting executive protection
Strong knowledge of emergency response procedures, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory requirements desirable.
The ability to work long hours and/or different times of the day and night as needed.
Must be able to perform effectively in high stress situations
The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $116,200.00 - $168,400.00. We deliver a market-competitive, equitable pay with a Total Reward program that includes:
