The Northern Trust Company seeks a Lead, Architecture Solutions to guide the development, specification, and communication of application and infrastructure architectures. Develop plans and directions to assure the integration of corporate business area requirements. Write technical design documents, complex queries, and implementation plans for migrating changes. Participate in project meetings for development initiatives and coordinate technical upgrade projects impacting owned applications. Contribute to Production migrations performed by automation and Production migration teams. Troubleshoot environment or proprietary application issues and report generation issues. #LI-DNI
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with application and infrastructure systems architecture. Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience with developing data ingestion, data processing, data Architecture, and analytical pipelines for databases and data virtualization; 3 years of experience with Snowflake and data warehouse solutions; 3 years of experience with handling data exchange through secure, on-premise and Cloud-based REST APIs; 3 years of experience with handling data orchestration process through Apache Airflow; 3 years of experience with public cloud based database and analytical systems; 3 years of experience leading real-time data replication tools; and 3 years of experience with Access, Apache Kafka, Azure, Oracle, Kubernetes, InfoSphere Datastage, CICD pipelines, Control-M, Python, SQL Server, and UNIX and Shell Scripting. Salary Range:
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
