EHS Technician (Finance)

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct Safety Inspections to inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards.
• Assist in responding to and investigating workplace incidents and injuries to determine causes and prevent future occurrences.
• Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees.
• Collect, sort, and manage hazardous waste materials according to regulatory guidelines.
• Create and provide safety training and education to employees to promote a culture of safety.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate and participate in emergency response drills and procedures.
• Collect samples, test equipment, and compile technical reports on EHS conditions and incidents.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required
• Education: Associate
• Experience: Minimum of 0 to 2 years of experience in environmental, health & safety or related field within a manufacturing environment.
Preferred
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour General Industry is preferred.
