We are seeking anIndustrial IoT Instrumentation Technician Internto join our team. The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of industrial instrumentation, wiring, and troubleshooting while being comfortable working both in a lab setting and on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform quality checks on IIoT devices and ensure compliance with engineering specifications.Wire sensors, controllers, and industrial devices per electrical and network diagrams.Conduct function and validation tests on assembled systems before deployment.Install and integrate IIoT solutions into industrial environments, including PLCs and SCADA systems.Troubleshoot and repair IIoT equipment both remotely and on-site.Test and evaluate new sensor functionality and provide feedback to the engineering team.Develop and maintain technical documentation for device onboarding, troubleshooting, and best practices.Assist in the assembly and configuration of sensors and communication modules.Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of IIoT solutions.
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of industrial instrumentation, electrical wiring, or automation.Familiarity with PLC integration, networking, and industrial protocols is a plus.Ability to read and interpret basic electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.Eagerness to develop troubleshooting skills in hardware, wiring, and communication issues.Exposure to sensors, controllers, and industrial communication networks.Willingness to travel on-site for installation and support.Strong documentation and communication skills.
