Responsibilities: Performs routine respiratory procedures (Breathing treatments, Incentive Spirometry, O2 therapy, etc.)Performs acute respiratory procedures (ventilator management, airway management, Bipap, etc.)Draw and interpret arterial blood gas reports; make recommendations with consultation of physician.Understands and responds to Code Blue incidents.Performs diagnostic testing: EKG, Stress Test, Holter Monitor set-up, and Pulmonary Function TestDocuments per Cardiopulmonary policies including all flow sheets and patients education sheet.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Position Requirements: CRT Credentials, RRT preferred.MO licenseAssociate degree strongly preferred.Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) issued by the American Heart Association or preapproved provider.
