SW-Clinical Informatics Specialist, RA (Information Technology)
Job Function Summary:
Involves the development and implementation of CEIP's data modernization initiative, including information systems and data management practices applied to clinical information. Works closely with CEIP, CDPH, and CDC to optimize effective use of systems and reporting tools. Defines systems and applications to support various functions, and specializes in development and implementation of reporting pipelines and products such as dashboards and reports.
Employment is provided by Heluna Health.
Salary is $100,000.00 - $107,000.00 per year depending on experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This position requires strong programming (SQL, R, Python, and/or SAS), reporting (PowerBi, Shiny for R, R Markdown, and/or Tableau), and/or informatics knowledge to support data analysis, database design, and data quality assurance and quality improvement projects. The position will interact and collaborate with several multidisciplinary CDPH and CEIP teams as well as other internal and external partners as they contribute to CEIP's data modernization.
