Analyst, Sec Pricing (Finance)

Major Duties :1. Builds/Maintain close working relationships with global Pricing partners for best practice sharing and internal consulting in support of valuations
2. Validating prices for all securities held on Northern Trust's assets and their clients¿ assets Ensuring prices are complete in an accurate and timely manner in line with preset deadlines
3. Reconciles all queries in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner
4. Assists with the provision of data for the internal and external audit process
5. Assists with the preparation of reporting requirements
6. Responsible for identifying and resolving problems within established guidelines
7. Expected to use some initiative but refer more complex problems to supervisors/experts
8. Works effectively as a team member but also independently
9. Responsible for obtaining and applying fluent working knowledge of Northern Trust's Pricing Guidelines to all pricing activities
Knowledge :Good oral and written communication skills are required
Analytical and problem solving skills are required
Good knowledge of MS Excel is preferred
Customer Service Orientation is required
Attention to detail and accuracy
Keep industry and market knowledge current through the use of various media
Functional/Industry knowledge is preferred
Experience :A College or University degree and/or some relevant work experience is preferred
Related Industry qualification / or studying towards, is preferred
Salary Range:
$43,200 - 64,800 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
