Guest Services Representative Summer 2025 (Personal Services)

SUMMARY
The Activity Center Representative role is a critical part of the guest experience at Grand Targhee and serves as the first guest touch point. This role works directly with our guests to ensure they have an above and beyond experience at Grand Targhee by selling all our resort activities, tickets, passes and providing information and expertise. This role works closely with other departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience, and that guests have everything required to enjoy the resort. This role requires a commitment of five days a week, flexible availability, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. Prior guest service experience is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ticket, pass, and activity sales Reservations for all resort activities and some offsite activities Checking guests in for their reserved activities Customer service/solving guest problems Maintaining extensive knowledge of resort activities/information Cross selling other resort products Provide resort and area information to visiting guests Balancing POS system Flexible working hours. Some job sharing may be required. Must commit to 5 days per week, hours of availability must be flexible. Will be required to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY:
Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and resort guests at all times.Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.

WORK SCHEDULE & COMMITMENT
Due to the nature of the recreation industry, we are in operation seven days a week. This includes weekends and holidays and there is no guarantee of hours. Flexible working hours may be required based on the business levels.

Computers- Computer use for this position is extensive. Recent experience is a must. (Prefer experience with sales/databases, Word, and Excel)Customer Service/Guest Relations- We serve a high volume of customers each day; excellent customer services skills are required.Cash Handling ExperienceProblem Solving

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school Diploma. Guest service experience. Familiar and comfortable on a computer.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Good communication skills. Proficiency in Spanish preferred but not required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic math skills.
