HR Specialist (Finance)
Primary Duty
Fully proficient human resources support position that implements and administers the company's human resources policies, processes, and programs in labor, recruiting, training, compensation, EEO, or benefits. At a location, a specialist can exist at this level in training or recruiting. At the corporate level, a specialist can exist in compensation or benefits as well.
Essential Functions
Minimum Education/Experience/Physical Functions
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. Two to five years HR experience. PHR/SHRM certification a plus. Requires in-depth knowledge of the company's policies/procedures and a broad knowledge of the company structure. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and UKG preferred. Must respond actively, confidentially, and with sensitivity to the needs of all employees. Must demonstrate ability to meet deadlines, problem-solving skills, organizational awareness, strong organizational and prioritizing skills to operate in a fast-paced work environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills effective with all levels of the organization as well as external customers.
Decision-Making/Supervisory
Receives general direction and may act independently on specific tasks/projects. Has no direct reports.
