Camp Counselor (Personal Services)

The Memphis Sports and Events Center (MSEC) is currently accepting applications for Camp Counselors. Camp Counselors provide direct supervision of a group of children during day camp. Our staff provide quality experiences and environment for the children and parents. A qualified individual will be energetic, creative, professional, patient and share a love for working with kids.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create a fun and safe environment for all kidsAbility to engage children between 6 years - 12 years of age for extended periods of timePlan, lead, and take part in various indoor and outdoor activitiesPlan and implement developmentally appropriate weekly and daily activitiesFollow program requirements and standards for safety and cleanlinessCreate and maintain relationships with children and parentsCommunicate effectively with other staff, supervisors, and parentsManage conflict and issues with campers across a multitude of developmental stagesOther duties as assigned
