Conservation Programs Intern (Biotech)
Essential Duties:
Assist in processing rebate applications and documenting energy savingsResearch energy saving equipment technical specifications and utility EWR best practicesAssemble customer informational kitsRespond to customer inquiriesDevelop content for the website, educational fact sheets, and social media on energy efficient technologies and energy and water saving tipsSupport and participate in the departments public outreach effortsHelp document processesIdentify continuous improvement and new program ideasAssist in related duties and projects as time allows.
Qualifications:
Full-time student working toward a college degree, preferably in Marketing, Environmental Studies, Business, or EngineeringStrong organizational skills, detail-oriented, self-motivated, checks for accuracyDemonstrates excellent communication skills, written and oralAbility to communicate with the public in a professional manner Basic understanding of sustainability principles and energy efficiencyExperienced using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Power Point, and social media
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.Ability to sit or stand and work at a keyboard for extended periods of time.Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25 pounds.Mental ability to handle pressures related to working on multiple projects requiring attention to detail and dealing with the concerns of customers.Normal office environment with minimum discomfort due to noise, dirt or dust.
