Do you consider yourself a strong advisor with a unique ability to communicate with partners and anticipate reactions? We're looking for someone to join us as a Vice President, External Stakeholder Communication, within our Investor Relations team. Our team integrates finance, communication, marketing, and securities law compliance to enable the most effective two‐way communication between the company, financial community, and other constituencies. The position will report to the Head of Investor Relations and lead communication with external stakeholders and act as a strategic advisor to senior management and our businesses, leading two employees.
The current Employee Work Arrangement for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
What you can expect:
Develop messages to educate external stakeholders about Prudential, our strategic direction, and quarterly results. Specifically responsible for quarterly press releases, earnings presentations, and related materials, and leading conversations with ratings agencies, analysts, and investors as well as efficiently and effectively addressing their questions.
Prepare communication packages supporting strategic actions including clearly defining rationale and financial implications, supervising preparation of press release, Form 8-K, presentation or public broadcast. Lead conversations with investors and analysts, anticipating and addressing their questions, and verifying their understanding of key messages.
Advise executive management, business segments, corporate functions, and the Board. You'll anticipate investor and analyst reactions to strategic actions and quarterly results and give a point of view to the business and executive management. Additionally, this role reviews internal communications and external reporting to provide investor perspective and ensure consistency of messages.
Develop efficiencies and enhancements, including technology solutions such as streamlining analysis across our business segments and corporate functions.
What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, Accounting or Communications and financial services industry leadership experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including creating and delivering concise and compelling messages
Results driven leader that creates a high performing team
Ability to prioritize and lead multiple responsibilities under tight timeframes
It'd be a plus if you had:
Prior Investor Relations or Financial Analyst experience
CFA, MBA, or CPA
