Inventory Control Auditor (Finance)

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data health and execution of inventory control and production planning procedures.
Review and count merchandise received daily in the warehouse and manually count all inventory. When discrepancies are identified, they must be documented according to company protocols, work to find the source of the inaccuracy, and find ways to reduce or eliminate future inventory errors. Weekly auditing reports will be sent to the Director of Supply Chain and Accounting.
Monitor, maintain and adjust inventory levels to drive inventory accuracy by ordering and processing physical counts to resolve discrepancies within the JustFood ERP Controls inventory accuracy of finished goods and packaging materials by participating in physical inventories as needed and maintaining/documenting inventory records; verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and helps adjust errors. Work with the Production, Warehouse and Data Retry teams to resolve discrepancies in time for scheduled closeout Receive and verify accuracy of inbound shipments as needed Assist in maintaining organization of the warehouse and stockAssist all departments with projects as needed Run cycle count reports; follows up with the Department Managers as necessary to review discrepancies on the cycle count reviews and inventories. Prepares and issues cycle count projections and adjustments to the Management Team Operates lift trucks, forklifts, scissor lift and motorized pallet jacks while observing standard lift truck operation and safety rules Responsible to for implementing and maintaining scanning system Perform all other duties as assigned
