UX/UI Designer (Finance)
Reporting to the Director, Web Experiences, this position works from our state-of-the-art global headquarters in Midtown, Atlanta with the flexibility to work remotely two days per week. (This is NOT a fully-remote role.)
What you'll do :
• Partner with business units, development teams, QA and other stakeholders to design and define the user experience (information architecture, interaction design, and visual design) across a suite of web-based sites and services.
• Create supporting documentation of the architecture of web sites and complex applications including workflows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Create overall visual design, weaving together iconography, typography, color, space and texture to help users easily navigate applications.
• Design incremental improvements and added features within existing web applications to maintain consistency and ensure an optimal user experience.
What experience you need :
• Bachelor's Degree in a related Design field (e.g. Interaction, graphic, visual, product etc.)
• 3+ years of professional experience doing UX Design (marketing, not product) on business applications.
• Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Ability to apply theories related to color schemes, use of space, text placement, usability and visual flow to create beautiful visual designs
• Ability to take direction and work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to be efficient, productive, and flexible with a dynamic workload.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work within project schedules and deadlines.
What could set you apart :
• Experience designing and producing usable online applications from concept through visual design.
• Experience defining information architecture elements and describing with sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, etc.
• Knowledge of design for responsive and mobile environments.
• Understanding of the Agile Development process.
• Solid understanding of web technologies (such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how each can affect design work.
