Facilities Maintenance Tech II (Maintenance)
SUMMARY
Under general supervision, responsible for repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities. Be a creative and proactive contributor, focused on continued improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist in performing routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building infrastructure.
Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
Candidate should have prior background in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and/or mechanical work.
Work may consist of pulling wiring, bending pipe, building crates, painting, repairing drywall, troubleshooting and PMing HVAC equipment, replacing plumbing fixtures and any other facility related repairs.
Candidate must have the ability to use both hand and power tools.
Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
Responsible for all departmental logs/record keeping and labor recording pertinent to their day-to-day job duties.
Develop and foster strong relationships with all maintenance department co-workers, outside contractors and vendors.
Adheres to all Jabil core values, property and department standards.
Responds to off hour emergency calls on a rotating schedule.
May perform other duties and responsibilities with other trades in the department as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required; and three to five years experience; or demonstrated skills required to perform the job.
