JOB SUMMARY:
The Community Schools Behavioral Health Clinician is responsible for providing weekly, ongoing direct mental health counseling and behavioral support to elementary-age students enrolled in the Community Schools Program, a collaboration between the Manchester School District, Amoskeag Health, and the Health Department. The behavioral health service provided, including classroom observation, full mental health assessments with treatment/behavior plan if applicable, and support to school staff and families through ongoing implementation of trauma-informed schools, works to enhance the overall wellbeing of program participants and provides opportunities for participants to build strong and meaningful connections with their families, schools, and communities.
The shift for this role is 7:30am-3:30pm (M-F).
