The Kendo house of brands currently includes: Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, Fenty Eau de Parfum, Fenty Hair, Ole Henriksen, KVD Beauty, Lip Lab.
The salary range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00 per hour based upon a San Francisco location.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will oversee the day-to-day Accounts Receivable tasks.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and direct the daily activities of the AR team, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training and guidance.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, credit memos, and adjustments.
- Oversee the application of cash receipts, ensuring proper allocation and reconciliation.
- Manage the collections process, contacting customers with overdue accounts and resolving payment discrepancies.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve billing disputes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field or equivalent experience and possess 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a finance role.
- A strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and best practices.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliation procedures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial transactions.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel is required; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX is preferred (training can be provided).
- Skilled in building and maintaining positive working relationships with Kendo staff and colleagues in related companies, fostering a professional and engaging work environment.
