Data Analyst intern (Food Services)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data from various sources.
Clean, transform, and manipulate raw data to prepare it for analysis.
Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI to present insights and findings.
Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns in the data.
Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from stakeholders across the organization.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the field of data analytics.
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
Experience with statistical analysis and programming languages such as R or Python.
Previous internship or coursework in data analysis or business intelligence.
Hours, Location and Pay:
This summer 2025 internship will work standard business hours Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) at our Little Chute, WI manufacturing facility. Our pay scale is $20-$23 per hour based on experience and education.
Physical and Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required in this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Mental demands include multi-tasking, decision making, problem solving, comparing, copying, computing, compiling, analyzing, coordinating, and synthesizing data.
Potential for exposure to chemicals, heights, loud noises, mechanical equipment, wet environments, and other potential hazards exists.
