Global Fund Services:\nGlobal Fund Services (GFS) is a full-service provider of fund solutions to investment manager and fund company clients around the world. North America GFS Operations provides Fund Accounting and Administration, Custody Servicing, Investment Outsourcing Operations, Transfer Agency, and Investor Servicing. Our expert team of 900 partners across North America are solutions-oriented, innovative, and passionate about servicing clients and helping them execute their business strategies. We commit ourselves to ensuring our partners reach their full potential.\n\nMajor Duties:\nUnder general supervision (but works independently most of the time) responsible for overseeing and coordinating day to day tasks for a Fund Accounting group within the Client Accounting Practice (CAP). CAP is a team of global service financial professionals that has operational capabilities in all locations. CAP encompasses Valuation Reporting and Unitized Valuation and Reporting Service and is comprised of partners who support Northern Trust business in conjunction with our global network of operational partners.\n- Ensures that team/divisions¿ goals for accuracy and timeliness are maintained\n- Ensures that core procedures and client-specific procedures are followed on a daily and monthly basis\n- Identifies trends, concerns and root causes of departmental issues and errors\n- Serves as a resource to clients, partners, and team members for clarity, understanding, and information regarding the relationships handled by the team\n- Develops process improvements or creating projects that benefit division/department initiative\n- Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact\n- Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees\n- May manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees (but not a formal management role)\n- More technically soundin area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas\n- Delivers a work product that requires less revision\n\n\n- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required\n- In-depth Client Accounting/Industry Knowledge is required\n- Highly flexible and adaptable to change
Salary Range:
$55,200 - 88,400 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
