Design Engineering Summer Intern (Architecture)
DuraClass, a trusted name in manufacturing Class 3–8 dump truck bodies and hoists, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineering Intern to join our team for Summer 2025. This internship is ideal for students interested in product design, CAD modeling, and real-world engineering applications in a heavy-duty manufacturing setting.
As a Design Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our engineering and product development teams to support new designs, assist in drawing updates, and contribute to product improvement projects.
Present a final project or report summarizing contributions and key takeaways from the internship.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.
Basic understanding of CAD modeling; prior experience with SolidWorks or similar software preferred.
Interest in heavy equipment design, manufacturing, or product development.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and creativity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Willingness to learn and collaborate in a team-focused environment.
