Digital Content Coordinator (Administrative)
As a Content Marketing Coordinator, you will bring the Birkey's story to life across platforms. You'll develop engaging photo and video content, grow our social presence, and drive customer engagement across multiple touchpoints. You'll also travel to various store locations to capture stories, highlight employee culture, and connect directly with both employees and customers.
- Develop engaging social media content, including text, videos, and images, tailored to platforms like X, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
- Schedule and publish posts in alignment with the established content calendar
- Ensure all content adheres to brand voice, best practices, and quality standards
- Capture and produce high-quality photo and video content for digital channels
- Plan efficient video shoots by creating shot lists and coordinating with necessary teams or store contacts
- Edit and produce professional, high-quality videos with transitions, music, text overlays, and visual effects to align with social media trends
- Edit and publish equipment videos for product listings on our website
- Update website imagery to ensure visual quality and brand consistency
- Execute standalone content projects requiring coordination and approvals from internal teams
- Stay current with social media trends, tools, and emerging platforms
- Travel to store locations to engage with employees and customers, capturing real stories and building brand culture
- Think creatively to generate fresh ideas, adapt quickly to fast-paced demands, and balance multiple tasks effectively
- Use project management tools to track deadlines and progress
- Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others
- Actively participate in learning initiatives such as training programs, workshops, and webinars

- 2+ years of experience in digital content creation (photo, video, or social)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop
- Experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras; drone usage is a plus
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and performance metrics
- Comfortable with ActiveCampaign or similar email marketing tools
- Familiarity with updating websites via CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)
- Excellent time management and collaboration skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, flexible environment
- Strong attention to detail and creative storytelling instincts
- Comfortable with regular travel to store locations
- Valid Driver's License in alignment with company policy regarding driving citations
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Able to lift and transport up to 15 lbs of equipment (camera gear, tripod, etc.)
- Must be able to travel to store locations as needed
