Job Summary: The primary responsibility of the Print Estimator is to develop cost estimates on routine and complex jobs as required by customers request, to assist Sales/Purchasing/Management in the manufacturing of our clients print work. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: Estimates labor and material cost of printing based on specifications outlined on sales order or submitted by prospective client. Examines specifications, sketches, and sample layouts, and calculates unit and production costs, using labor and material pricing software and schedules and considering factors such paper stock requirements, number and units of colors and quality of finished product, to determine cost effective and competitive price.Confers with department heads to develop or confirm information regarding various cost elements.Estimate cost of mailing finished printed productMaintain estimating standard procedure.Utilize estimating software to provide quotes to Customer Service Representatives.Performs other duties as required. #LI-JM1 #LI-onsite
