EFP - Customer Service Supervisor - Casa Grande (Finance)
As Customer Service Supervisor in Casa Grande, you will be responsible for maintaining effective customer support for all customers through the implementation of best practices and with a focus on continuous improvement. The Customer Service Supervisor will also perform purchasing/procurement functions for the plant, as well as supervise shipping and receiving.
As part of the start-up team for the new plant, you will play a key role in implementing well-established company policies, procedures, and processes and training team members to ensure successful launch and seamless customer experience. The position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Performs job duties in a safe manner.
• Provides leadership to plant customer service and shipping & receiving representatives.
• Implements and ensures adherence to customer support policies and procedures for plant, producing quality outcomes for customers and are consistent with corporate and operational requirements.
• Develops service standards focused on customer responsiveness and issue resolution.
• Ensures that systems are in place and are utilized to capture and report on service metrics, including any customer feedback or trends in product or service issues.
• Drives continuous process improvement within the customer service function.
• Serves as an escalation point for customers for critical issues and partnering with management and team members to ensure appropriate resolution of issues.
• Displays creative problem-solving skills to resolve customer and internal issues.
• Provides direct support to customers, including communicating frequently with customers, receiving, and processing orders, coordinating shipments, sending and receiving data electronically, and creating billing and packing slips.
• Sources and procures materials and supplies needed for facility production, maintenance, and administration.
• Maintains records, including customer service records, vendor records, and purchasing records.
• Participates in physical inventory.
• Compiles and distributes reports.
• Performs filing and other tasks needed to maintain a safe, clean, organized, and effective work area environment.
• Performs other duties as needed to support the success of other team members and that the operation.
Qualifications
• Requires 2 years of customer service supervisory experience in a manufacturing company.
• The successful candidate will be results oriented, a strong communicator, have a passion for supporting customers, and be a problem-solver.
• To be successful, must consistently present oneself as positive and professional and maintain productive work relationships with customers and team members at all levels.
• Must be able and willing to travel for initial job training. Following initial job training, travel will occasionally be required.
