Lead Requirement Engineer
What You Will Do
The Lead Requirement Engineer will be responsible for capturing, analyzing, and documenting product/system requirements for various projects. This role will execute key phases of the requirement engineering process, including selecting, implementing, and configuring tools to support these processes. The role demands a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and effective communication ability.
How You Will Do It
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop detailed technical specifications, including functional, non-functional, and system architecture requirements.
Maintain and update the requirement traceability matrix to ensure alignment across all project phases.
Participate in design reviews, testing, and validation to ensure systems meet defined requirements.
Identify potential risks and issues, conduct risk assessments, and propose mitigation strategies.
Manage changes to product/system requirements, update documentation, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Select, implement, and configure tools to support the requirement engineering process.
Analyze current processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements to streamline workflows.
Mentor team members in requirement analysis and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
What We Look For
Required:
Bachelor's in Engineering or Science; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years in design or requirement engineering roles.
Proficiency in coding (Python, R, or MATLAB) and experience with tools like JAMA, DOORS, or JIRA.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; detail-oriented and team-focused.
Preferred:
Familiarity with A-SPICE, ISO 26262, and battery systems (Li-ion or lead-acid).
Experience working in cross-functional teams and matrix organizations.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management practices.
