Physical Security Operations Center - Supervisor (Finance)
The Physical Security Operations Center Supervisor will operate in a lead or working supervisor capacity of the Physical Security Operations Center. The center operates electronic physical security systems, including Access Control, Video Surveillance, Physical Intrusion, Incident and Intelligence reporting platforms. Team members provide Global Situational Awareness support, Security & Safety Incident Response and Crisis Management support, Travel Tracking, notifications and escalations. The goal of the center is to protect employees, facilities and assets worldwide. Using a variety of tools ranging from enterprise access control systems and alarm monitoring platforms to various business intelligence sources, open source media, network video management applications and internet and internal collaborative tools, the Physical Security Operations Supervisors job is to detect, analyze and alert others regarding any condition impacting Equifax assets, businesses or personnel. The position provides 24 hour monitoring and response via the Corporate Security Support Hotline allowing the opportunity for employees, contractors and members of the general public to report threats to physical security, safety, data privacy, ethics violations or any other incident with potential impact to Equifax or its interests.
This resource should be local to Atlanta and will be required to work from the following Equifax office location - Alpharetta
Corporate Return To Office expectations: Onsite weekly requirements - Due to the nature of Corporate Security, this resource must be able to work in office with flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, periodic overtime, and unscheduled shifts.
What you'll do
Operate in a lead or working supervisor capacity of the Physical Security Operations Center, supervising a team of Physical Security Operations Specialists.
Monitor electronic physical security systems, including Access Control, Video Surveillance, Physical Intrusion, Incident and Intelligence reporting platforms.
Provide Global Situational Awareness support, Security & Safety Incident Response and Crisis Management support, Travel Tracking, notifications and escalations.
Assess situations to protect employees, facilities and assets worldwide.
Detect, analyze and alert others regarding any condition impacting Equifax assets, businesses or personnel.
Provide 24 hour monitoring and response via the Corporate Security Support Hotline allowing the opportunity for employees, contractors and members of the general public to report threats to physical security, safety, data privacy, ethics violations or any other incident with potential impact to Equifax or its interests.
Monitors various methods of communication to include email, chat, and phone; engages with internal and external customers
Analyzes technical situations and escalates based on set requirements
Provide technical support for a range of server platforms
Initiates Incident reporting and collaborates with Incident Managers for timely resolution
Monitors and performs basic troubleshooting for network and server environments
2 -5 years of previous related security support and operational experience.
Excellent research, writing, and critical thinking skills; ability to effectively and independently compile high-level Situation Reports.
Proficiency level experience using Google Suite (G Suite) environments and Windows based programs
Strong customer service skills and ability to multitask in a fast paced and quickly-changing environment.
Excellent time-management, communication, presentation, and organizational skills required. Will be required to communicate to a range of audiences
Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload based on urgency
What could set you apart
Experience in background monitoring enterprise physical security monitoring systems, such as C*CURE or other access control platforms (i.e. OnGuard or Prowatch), Video Surveillance Management Systems (i.e. Avigilon)
Experience using intelligence monitoring and reporting applications (i.e. NC4, TRIS) in an operations center environment.
Familiarity with security badging and scheduling technologies and processes.
Experience effectively responding to incidents, monitoring assets, and communicating to a range of audiences utilizing various channels, including mass notification tools.
A bilingual or multilingual speaker with knowledge of pronunciation rules and natural language processing is a plus.
Experience in a leadership role.
Prior Law Enforcement or Military experience.
ASIS International CPP, PSP, or APP Certification.
