Program Manager II (Finance)
Description
:MQ: Education: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Experience: Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience. Certification/Licensing: None.

This position is in the Stanford Alexander Center for Excellence in Real Estate. The center was built by Houston's real estate professionals to prepare students to become leaders in the industry. It offers graduate and undergraduate certificates in real estate and is currently launching a new MS Real Estate degree. This center is funded primarily by a permanent endowment as well as a strong annual fundraising effort.
This position is responsible for various administrative functions of the Stanford Alexander Center for Real Estate including, but not limited to:
- Budget preparation and analysis
- Accounts payable
- Expense tracking and reports
- Managing financial, student, and other data
- Administration of academic program including ePARs, etc
- Responding to calls and emails arriving on team phone and email addresses
- Welcoming visitors and preparing for special guests or events
- Preparation of reports and other documents for team
- Travel arrangements
- Office management (facility requests, supply/equipment purchases)
- Contract management
- Assist the property custodian with annual inventory
- Coordination of events and meetings involving internal and external stakeholders
- Coordination of tasks and projects involving internal and external stakeholders
- Preparation of memos and other documents
