OR Implant Inventory Coordinator (Finance)
This position ensures compliance with all applicable regulations regarding implants and human tissue procured for implantation. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining a quality management plan so that all policies, procedures, and records that pertain to implants and human tissue are compliant with applicable regulatory standards. Responsibilities include cooperation/collaboration with approved vendors of implants and human tissues that are procured for implantation, ensuring process control of ordering, receiving, storage, inventory, and returns. Compliance with quality assurance audits, review of quality control results, and reporting of deviations and/or adverse events with corresponding escalation are additional requirements of the position.
This primary position at NCH, Delaware, will include collaboration with the NCH, Surgery Center, Bryn Mawr, PA and NCH, Surgery Center, Deptford, NJ to optimize available resources in achieving optimal patient outcomes. This position may require periodic rotation to the ambulatory surgery centers. Travel is compensated based on organizational policy.
This position requires Pennsylvania Clearances to include FBI Fingerprint Report, PA Criminal Background Record, & PA Child Abuse Clearance.
This position requires working shifts aligned with the needs of the department and the assigned FTE of the surgical technologist. This position also includes on-call and holiday requirements based on the needs of the department.
