About the position:
- This is a field position for a Construction Technical Support Specialist.
- Cutting edge technology in Trimble / CAT branded construction machine control is driving the need for a person with a special skill set.
- We are looking for a Support Specialist for SITECH NW in our Kent, WA branch.
- The right person will interface with contractors, surveyors, engineering firms and the DOT.
- Responsibilities include: conduct formal presentations, customer training, product / software demonstrations and provide technical and sales support.
Qualifications:
- Must have strong knowledge of road construction surveying and design.
- Fluent in AutoCad Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Microstation, TerraModel and / or Geopak.
- Experience using GPS and Total Stations - Trimble branded hardware / software / networks a big plus.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a self-starter.
- BS degree / PE / PLS a plus.
- Some travel required – up to 30%.
