Accounts Payable Specialist (Administrative)
Review all incoming Purchase Orders and Invoices for proper approvals.
Complete vendor account reconciliations utilizing a three-way match.
Understand the company General Ledger structure and review all incoming invoices for appropriate general ledger coding.
Facilitate payment of outstanding invoices.
Assist with financial audits fieldwork PBC requests.
Assist in documentation and monitoring internal controls.
Research vendor statements and resolve vendor inquiries.
Communicate with vendors and departments as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, REGISTRATION:
High School Diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Minimum of 3 years Accounts Payable experience including an understanding of the general ledger accounts and their relationship to Accounts Payable.
Experience with Oracle a plus.
Ability to meet assigned deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to act and operate independently.
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with minimal daily direction.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
Must interact and communicate both verbally and in written form.
Must interact and exchange information regarding patients with physicians and other departmental personnel, and outside agencies on a frequent basis while respecting the confidentiality of patient information.
