Finance Director (Project Management)
Job Summary
Job Description
Provide strategic leadership and management of Medline Brand (MB) segment financial operations in close partnership with VP of Finance.
Overseeing FPA team, directing financial strategy, planning, forecasts, and monthly reporting.
Provide executive level insights on the financial impact of business operations to MB Segment EVPs, CFO/SVP FP&A and PE Sponsors.
Drive simplification initiatives and related projects to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, consistency and sophistication of Medline Divisional Finance processes and outcomes.
Partner with MB Segment VP of Finance, EVPs, and Finance leadership to summarize strategic initiatives to maximize profitability and assess overall MB segment performance.
Lead the financial planning and analysis & financial reporting processes for MB Segment. Collaborate effectively with Divisional FP&A leader and Corporate FP&A to define consistent reporting metrics. Coordinate with team and deliver on reporting needs for these metrics within established timelines.
Conduct and lead quarterly/monthly financial business reviews with Division Management, Sponsors and Corporate FP&A teams clearly articulating the drivers of variances to business plans.
Conduct and lead quarterly and annual AOP, LRP and Outlook processes for the MB Segment. Project Management of the process in close collaboration with Corp FP&A, Commercial FP&A, and Div FP&A teams. Consolidate, analyze and articulate the strategic direction of the MB segment to Division Leaders, Sponsors & Corporate FP&A teams.
Create executive presentations for Board of Directors and Investor Relations quarterly. Stand up processes to track and report key MB segment business initiatives.
Continuously simplify and improve the financial planning and analysis & reporting processes with the aim to improve end use experience on the finance team and improved sophistication of the output from the process. Closely collaborate with India Global Capability Center to aid with the same.
Drive projects to simplify revenue reporting and forecasting processes for revenue, COGS and SG&A
Represent the Finance organization in strategic initiatives where changes or new technologies are introduced or financial data is required. Assess the impact of proposed changes to the Finance organization and advises/acts accordingly.
Management responsibilities include:
Manage directly and indirectly through multiple Managers
Provide leadership and management to a department that has system-wide accountability
Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects; develop, recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies
Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies
Serve as backup to the Division VP of Finance
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
At least 8 years of experience in Finance in an FP&A organization
At least 4 years of experience managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing people as they work.
Advance knowledge level of finance and finance business processes.
Ability to create and enhance business partner relationships.
Merger & Acquistion or Business Development experience with Financial modeling.
Willing to travel for business purposes.
Executive presence and strong communication and influencing skills.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$152,880.00 - $229,320.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
