Industrial Manufacturing Engineer (Finance)
Job Description: Perform a variety of engineering work related to safety, process, and system improvements, and maintain related applications. Work on daily and long-term continuous improvement projects using manufacturing, quality, and Schneider Production System (SPS) tools to resolve issues. Support new product development projects, determining cost estimates, design concepts and engineering criteria along with conceptual process layouts for given project. Maintain the design intent and integrity of products assembled in floor shop. Act as expert specialized in several areas of knowledge regarding production/manufacturing processes in an entity (SPS: process design, ergonomics, capacity, simulation tools, investment, cost analysis, performance). Strongly contribute to continuous improvement actions.
Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or related Engineering field and experience (2 years with Bachelor's, or 0 years with Master's) in manufacturing engineering or related occupation, which must include at least some experience or education in the following skills: Manufacturing engineering; Designing line architecture, including workflows, process manuals, and problem-solving assembly issues; Creating and reviewing PFMEA's, CAPA and control plans for manufacturing processes; Performing line balancing and time studies to optimize overall assembly processes and reduce cycle time; and Implementing process changes by identifying bottlenecks and recommending actions to reduce inefficiencies.
