Summer Environmental Education Associate (Apple Creek YMCA) (Biotech)

As an Environmental Education Associate, youll work side-by-side with Environmental Education Instructors in our Outdoor Exploration summer day camps and other summer youth programs at the Apple Creek YMCA and Bruce B. Purdy Nature Preserve. Youll help teach and lead children ages 3-10 through nature hikes and exploratory activities outdoors, along with games, crafts, and stories indoors. Associates also assist with caretaking duties for various program animals in the Nature Study Classroom and outdoor seasonal projects on the preserve and YMCA grounds.

This is an entry-level, summer only position ideal for people passionate about nature, the environment and being outdoors. Typical hours are 12:30am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday.
