VP of Commercial and Corporate Development (Project Management)
Building an extensive relationship as a liaison between CBI and Optus Bank.
Develop opportunities for the bank to capitalize on the various programs available under Optus Bank and bring them to market.
Provide direct assistance to businesses and information to business groups that can benefit from the various programs available through the Optus Bank CDFI programs.
Develop the ePace program to its fullest potential with Optus Bank as a the primary funding source.
Assist the COE/COB in managing the Optus Bank relationship.
Developing business and banking opportunities between CB&T and the community, the state of Georgia and throughout the U.S.
Work side by side with Bill Stumph to understand the players in the area and surpass his efforts to increase knowledge and awareness for the bank.
Secure a solid understanding of the banks offerings and work to improve our relationships throughout the community.
Focus on building the depository base of the bank by networking throughout the community, the state and the region and expanding the general banking and lending services throughout.
Refer businesses and prospective projects to the appropriate resources within the bank, when applicable.
Assist the CEO/COB in identifying and installing PODs in key areas across the country (as noted above) that will be manned by individual BDO groups whose focus is on bringing in business from their respective regions.
Understand and comply with Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Policies and Procedures as appropriate.
Confidently embody the values of CBT.
Represent Community Bankshares Inc and/or its subsidiaries in the community and at community events as appropriate.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Demonstrated excellence in working with peer teams across organizations.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and banking software programs and platforms.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in related field.
Fifteen (15) years' experience.
