Staff Scheduler/Central Supply Coordinator (Healthcare)
LAKESIDE POST ACUTE IS HIRING FOR A FULL TIME STAFF SCHEDULER/CENTRAL SUPPLY COORDINATOR FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE! COME JOIN OUR FUN AT WORK!
Schedule: Monday thru Friday and some on-call weekends.
Hours: Flexible
Wage Range: $22.00-$25.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Central Supply Tasks:
* Managing the ordering and stocking of central supply items (briefs, over the counter meds, gloves, gowns, etc.)
*Managing inventory Stocking the facility and organizing the inventory *Communicating and managing the overuse of items Identifying new products and systems that would benefit the nursing staff and facility
* Helping in other departments as needed
Staffing Tasks:
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure there are no vacant positions on the schedule
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Assist in completion and filing of designated reports in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Report to Director of Nursing Services (DNS) all employees with excess tardiness or absenteeism in accordance with facility policy.
• Perform miscellaneous duties pertaining to staffing and assist nursing supervisory personnel as necessary.
• Consult with nursing department staff and supervisors concerning the staffing/scheduling needs: to assist in elimination/correction of problem areas, and/or improvement of services.
• Ability to remain calm under stressful situations and to take appropriate action.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information. Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information.
Education and/or Experience
GED or High School Diploma.
C.N.A certification preferred
Prior experience scheduling staff in a medical or long-term facility setting.
