IACP is seeking a talented leader to provide financial oversight for all aspects of reporting and compliance, accounting services, grant accounting and tax compliance. The Assistant Director of Finance will lead the finance staff and is the primary liaison with external auditors. This individual will foster financial leadership, efficiency, systemization, and discipline throughout the organization.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Under general direction, manages staff responsible for payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, contracts, treasury, accounting, financial/grant reporting, facilities and coordination of audits and inquiries by various funding and regulatory agencies.
This position is located in Alexandria, Virginia, you will be required to come to the office 5 days a week for 90 days, then transition to a hybrid schedule, with Mondays and Fridays remote and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the office.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in accounting or finance. Advanced degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field preferred. CPA required.
